We have had our on-line repeat prescription service for over 2 years but following a Department of Health initiative and development by our clinical system supplier, we are able to offer an improved version. This will give patients the advantage of not having to update their medication lists themselves and the ability to see future booked appointments and previous appointments.
All patients newly registering should use the new improved version. We would also encourage all patients who are registered already to switch to the new service.
Please note to register for the new service, the patient will have to call at our reception to have a computer generated initial password. This is to improve security and is a requirement imposed by the clinical system supplier.
If the doctor has put you on a repeat prescription, you may obtain your medication by completing the re-order form which is attached to your prescription. If you lose this form, you can write your name and address on plain paper along with the medication you require and either place your request in the box which is situated in reception or post it to us.
Please include a stamped, addressed envelope if you would like the prescription posting back.
Allow 48 hours (two working days). If you post your request with a stamped, addressed envelope, please allow a couple of extra days. If you over or under order your medication we may telephone you to find out why this is happening.
Alternatively, you can order your repeat prescription directly through this site. Click on the link above and complete the simple registration form. Please be aware that it is only possible to register one patient per individual email address. If more than one person in the household wishes to register for online ordering it may be possible to create an 'additional user' on the main email address - check with your email provider.
Periodically you will need to have your medication reviewed. You may be asked to see the doctor, practice nurse or both. This may be on the same day or a week apart.
