Urgent appointments

To request an urgent appointment for today (Monday to Friday):

• phone us on 01709 724738 (Broom Lane) or 01709 551157 (Kimberworth Park), Monday to Friday from 8am to 6.30pm
• visit the surgery and speak with a receptionist, Monday to Friday from 8am to 6.30pm

When you get in touch, we’ll ask what you need help with.

We will use the information you give us to choose the most suitable doctor, nurse or health professional to help you.

Routine appointments

To request a routine appointment:

• use our appointment request form, Monday to Friday 8am to 6.30pm. We aim to respond within one working day. 
• phone us on 01709724738 (Broom Lane) or 01709 551157 (Kimberworth Park), Monday to Friday from 8am to 6.30pm
• visit the surgery and speak with a receptionist, Monday to Friday from 8am to 6.30pm
• use your NHS account (through the NHS website or NHS App) to book a screening test or vaccination

Your appointment

However you choose to contact us, we may offer you a consultation:

• by phone
• face to face at the surgery
• by text or email

Appointments by phone, text or email can be more flexible and often means you get help sooner.

Cancelling or changing an appointment

To cancel your appointment:

• use your NHS account (through the NHS website or NHS App)
• using the GP online system – Airmid
• phone us on 01709724738 (Broom Lane) or 01709 551157 (Kimberworth Park), Monday to Friday from 8am to 6.30pm
• reply CANCEL to your appointment reminder text message

If you need help when we are closed

If you need medical help now, use NHS 111 online or call 111.

NHS 111 online is for people aged 5 and over. Call 111 if you need help for a child under 5.

Call 999 in a medical or mental health emergency. This is when someone is seriously ill or injured and their life is at risk.

If you need help with your appointment

Please tell us:

• if there’s a specific doctor, nurse or other health professional you would prefer to respond
• if you would prefer to consult with the doctor or nurse by phone, face-to-face, by video call or by text or email
• if you need an interpreter
• if you have any other access or communication needs

Home Visits

Home visits

If you are housebound and need an appointment, we will do a home visit. We will phone you first to understand what you need.

To request a home visit, it’s helpful if you phone the practice before 10.30.

we will look at the information you give us and decide the most suitable person for you to see and when they are available

Home visits are for the terminally ill and the bed-bound, lack of transportation is not a reason for a home visit. 

Disabled Access

Wheelchair access is available at both our medical centres. Consulting rooms can be accessed by patients in wheelchairs and suitable patients' toilets are provided.

We also have parking spaces outside each of our surgeries which are reserved for patients displaying a disabled sticker.

For patients with hearing problems or impaired vision please alert reception staff who will be pleased to assist you. There is a portable hearing loop for the hearing impaired, which can be taken from reception to the consulting room, if required.

GP Training

We are a training Practice and have registrars carrying out surgeries with guidance from Dr Kacker and Dr Idukallu. The registrars are qualified doctors who are training to become GPs.

Medical Student Training

We often have medical students at the practice who will sit in during consultations and with more experience have their own clinics with close supervision from the supervising GP who will review every patient.  We pride ourselves on offering a great experience to our medical students and hope to encourage more of them to become GPs of the future. 

You will be informed of student presence in clinics in advance, and if you do not want them to be present at a consultation please let reception know and your wishes will be respected. This will not affect your treatment in any way.
